Blood Brothers Show

Year 8’s leaving to retreat “Bye Guys Bye” I said loudly “ Bye Nela” said Catherine from behind. “Okay my mum and my dad is going to drop some of us off to selwyn to see the blood brothers live, but my dad is not going to stay for the show but he will be back when the show is finished, but my mum is going to stay with us to watch the show “said Miss Gleason.

Let’s go we hopped into the car then the engine started to rumble, me, Sione-Dale, Catherine and isaiah we all went in Mrs. Gleason car. when we got there a lady took us to the office just to wait for a few minutes then we went and waited were the teachers have there lunch there was even like a little cafe or something.

Suddenly this lady came and told us that the show is ready every single one of us was excited there was even live music.
There was a man which I thought that he should be on a horror movie. The movie was about a lady giving one of babies away but she regretted what she has done then at the end the real mother told them that they were real brothers but one of her son got married a girl named linda then the other brother still liked linda but then they both died at the end.

I had allot of fun and hungry so when we got to school we started to eat then go and play then the school bell rang for us to go home.

Tennis experience

!!!HOORAY!!! Room 7 was first to play tennis. We raced to the tennis court. We saw a man standing there. He introduced himself, and his name was Marcel our instructor. Marcel asked us girls to get a tennis racket and a ball I rushed and grab a racket and ball then ran to the other side of the net, after all of us girls got our racket and ball. Then Marcel told the boys to grab a racket and ball the boys run like crazy they stood in front of us girls on the other side. We started by how to hold the tennis racket Marcel told us to hold the tennis racket the a frying pan we were practicing how to balance the ball and hit the ball with our racket.

Marcel told all of Room 7 to line up in a straight line. Marcel told us to pair up with a partner, my partner was Ofa. Marcel asked all of us if we all had a partner but Jordan didn’t so he had to partner with our teacher Mrs. Tui. Marcel told one side to drop their racket down but hold on to the ball and move up, then he told the people on the other side to move back and drop their ball so one person throws and the other hits the ball then we catch it.

Marcel blowed his whistle and that meant that we had to stop and then he said “ okay these boys are the king of the court, okay everyone please put all your racket back and also your ball” Everyone said “ohhhh” then everyone went to the side of the court to put their racket and their tennis ball back into it’s box. I said to myself man that was so fun I can not wait for the next lesson.

My soulfriend

My soul friends name is J.T. He is in Room 5 and is a year 4 student.

He loves to play rugby with all his friends and he love his family so much.

I am looking forward for to work with him for 2012

There were people called wemmicks, they were carved by a man named Eli. All the wemmicks do the same thing every single day, they would just stick grey stickers or stars on each other. The people who had talent got golden stars but the people who were small and had no talent had grey dots. Punchinello was one of them but he tried his best just to get a star. He tried jumping so high but every time he fell back down. He fell and landed so hard he got scratches on his back.
One day Punchinello met a wemmick that he'd never seen in town. She had no grey stickers or stars it is because every time someone tries to put a sticker on her it will just fall off but nobody knew why they fell off. Punchinello asked her why didn’t she have any stickers on her but she said “Why are you asking?” "It’s just because people always stick stickers on me because I have no talent and people just stick dots on me for no reason". Lucia said “oh just go and see Eli he’s in his house just up the hill. He will be there, he really wants to see you and plus he’s the one who made us wemmick's, okay bye now” As Lucia skipped along Punchinello said “Are you sure he wants to see me?” but Lucia didn’t hear.
The next day Punchinello didn’t even go outside so he waited until everyone was inside and when the moon was up Punchinello went to see Eli. He was very scared to see Eli because he’s never seen him before. Later on when he got to Eli's house he opened the door. Eli’s table was to big and Punchinello was so small he couldn't see Eli so he turned to leave but he heard a voice say “Punchinello is that you? Come here”. When Punchinello turned around he saw Eli, Eli picked him up and sat him down on one of his pieces of wood. Eli said “It looks like people don’t really like you, tell me why Son” Punchinello said “ It’s because I have no talent and some people just stick it on me for no reason.” Eli told Puncinello “Punchinello no matter what anyone thinks about you I am the one who made you so just think how much I love you that is the most important thing”. Puncinello replied “Okay” and when Punchinello was leaving he was happy and did think how much Eli loved him and when he walked out and was waving goodbye to Eli he never noticed that one grey sticker fell off.
